contemplation

I have gone over and over in my mind for months, maybe even years, about having a blog that featured anything but pictures of my family. I didn't want to post with wrong motives. I like to look at other's blogs and observe their creativity and would absolutely hate it if one of my dear friends didn't post every little thing 'cause I would miss way too much of her life.
So I finally decided to post some things that I have been up to and jump into the blogging world.

here goes::

I love to create things I need. I call myself a functional sewer. I am not a huge fan of patterns, I usually just make it and then use it.
I absolutely LOVE colorful things {paper, fabric, pens, ribbon, pictures, the list goes on}, maybe that's why I majored in Graphic Design and had a ton of fun!

My plan:: Share my makings, my thoughts and some everyday life.
{enjoy}

ever since I was a little girl I remember making this special
{Italian Easter Bread}

my mom has the same memory so we wanted to get these little kiddos on board with the
 Easter traditions

 roll out the dough into a snake

 cut and fold over

I loved that they all lined up to see what was going on in the oven

baked and ready to frost

 frosting and sprinkles
